In 2005 ASM won the management and transportation contracts for the nine Civic
Amenity sites (Household Waste and Recycling Centres) owned by Bucks County
Council. We had previously held the management contract for these sites and this
is the second term ASM have held the transportation contract. ASM have over
20
years experience in providing waste management services.
We invested over £2million in new vehicles, compaction machines and waste containers for this substantial contract, and continue to work in partnership with Bucks County Council to introduce innovative and ‘ground-breaking’ new initiatives in the area of recycling waste materials.
Container weights have increased dramatically since the introduction of compaction machines on all Household Waste and Recycling Centres, which contributes towards a safer environment because of less commercial vehicle movements.

ASM have also advised and worked closely with Bucks County Council to develop new sites, and the first of these opened at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire on 26th February 2007.

In the first six months of operation the new Beaconsfield HWRC is now accepting over 800 tonnes of waste every month, and has achieved an average of 72% recycling which is well above the national average. ASM is currently advising Buckinghamshire County Council on the design of two further HWRC's at Booker and Aston Clinton which are due to open early 2009.

All of our sites are open seven days a week and closed for only three days in a year: 25th & 26th December and 1st January. Opening hours are 08:00 to 17:00hrs; in British Summer Time this extends one hour to 18:00hrs.
Aylesbury, Amersham, Beaconsfield and Booker sites also accept commercial trade waste at a very competitive rate. For further details please use the contact page of this website.
