ASM has been in the Metal Recycling Industry for over 30 years and boast a very experienced management team. Investing in new technology, plant, vehicles and personnel is paramount in our company philosophy.
The company’s main processing site is based in Griffin Lane, Aylesbury, Bucks. where a major redevelopment programme has been completed. The whole area of the site has been concreted and bunded. Underground interceptors have been installed to contain any oil or lubricant spillage. The new equipment commissioned includes a fully computerised 50 tonne weighbridge, a 960 tonne Leimbach hydraulic shear (pictured left), a Taurus 600 tonne mobile shear, four 35 tonne material handling cranes and a new five bay vehicle dismantling workshop incorporating the latest technology in end-of-life vehicle de-polluting treatment. The operations on site are conducted from a purpose-built building that houses management and admin staff.
The Leimbach 960 tonne hydraulic shear here demonstrates ASM ‘s commitment to onward investment in new technologies to improve efficiency. It is capable of handling 50 tonnes of material every hour.
Pictured right is our new 600 tonne Taurus mobile shear which gives extra flexibility to operations.
We operate four 35 tonne material handling cranes which are custom designed for quick vehicle and shear loading activities. All drivers are trained to the highest industry standards.

ASM's second metal recycling depot is at Kings Langley, Herts. This site was purchased in 2007 and is currently undergoing a major development program. The new development will include a new office block, weighbridge, fully equipped 2-bay de-pollution workshop, non-ferrous processing workshop and new concrete surface throughout.
Below are some pictures of the Kings Langley yard before the start of the development. We will update these pictures as the development takes place.
