Facility Management
ASM have over 25 years experience in providing waste management services including full Facility Management for Household Waste and Recycling Centres (C.A. Sites), and transportation of waste services. We have recently been awarded a new contract to manage ten HWRC's on behalf of Buckinghamshire County Coucil. This means that ASM has worked in successful partnership with BCC for over 12 years to change the culture of the HWRC's from Household Waste Sites or 'tips' to the Recycling Centres as they are recognised. We have invested over £2million in new vehicles, compaction machines and waste containers for this substantial contract, and continue to work in partnership with Bucks County Council to introduce innovative and ‘ground-breaking’ new initiatives in the area of recycling waste materials. Container weights have increased dramatically since the introduction of compaction machines on all Household Waste and Recycling Centres, which contributes towards more efficient transport operations and a safer environment because of less commercial vehicle movements. Pictured right is one of ASM’s fleet of over 30 commercial vehicles, including Glass Collection, Fridge Recycling, Grab truck for illegal fly-tipped waste, and many more. ASM have also advised and worked closely with Bucks County Council to develop new sites including Beaconsfield, Aston Clinton and High Wycombe. We have offered advice on design and operating requirements for these new sites. In the first four months of operation the new Aston Clinton HWRC is now accepting over 800 tonnes of waste every month, and has achieved an amazing average of 84.5% recycling which is well above the national average. All of our HWRC sites are open seven days a week and closed for only three days in a year: 25th & 26th December and 1st January. Opening hours are 08:00 to 17:00hrs; in British Summer Time this extends one hour to 18:00hrs. Aylesbury, Amersham, Aston Clinton, Beaconsfield and Booker sites also accept commercial trade waste at a very competitive rate. For further details please use the contact page of this website.
