WEEE Recycling

The UK WEEE Regulations came into effect on 1st July 2007, and require Retailers and Producers to support the recycling of UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Under the Regulations, a Producer is defined as a company that manufactures imports or rebrands electrical and electronic goods for sale or hire in the UK.

ASM are a licensed AATF (Approved, Authorised Treatment Facility) for the acceptance and processing of WEEE waste. A full WEEE Recycling service is provided for Buckinghamshire County Council, Wycombe District Council, Aylesbury Vale District Council and many other local authorities.

We provide logistics for two of the leading WEEE compliance schemes ERP/Geodis and DHL.

We are licensed to accept WEEE waste at our depot in Griffin Lane, Aylesbury, and have many electrical retailers as regular customers.
